Overview
Choreflow is local-first household software. It works without a Choreflow account or Choreflow cloud synchronization.
Information stored on this device
Choreflow stores chores, schedules, completion history, Snooze information, Away periods, and the home timezone in its local database. App preferences such as reminder time, notification previews, and screen choices are stored separately on the device.
Backups
If Android backup is enabled, Android may include Choreflow’s household database in its encrypted device-backup service. Choreflow excludes its separate app preferences from that backup. Backup availability and retention are controlled by Android and your device backup provider.
A manual Choreflow backup contains the home timezone, chores and Snooze information, schedule records, completion history, and Away periods. Export copies that backup to the system clipboard. Clipboard contents may be visible to Android or other apps until they are replaced. Import replaces the current Choreflow data with the selected backup.
Reminders and timezone
Choreflow uses the device timezone identifier locally to establish or deliberately update the home timezone. Reminder text may appear in Android notification previews or on the lock screen, depending on device settings. You can hide chore details in Reminders settings.
Support email
When you choose to contact support, Choreflow opens your email app. A bug report draft may include the app version, Android version, locale, home timezone, and device timezone. Chore titles and history are not added automatically. Your email app and provider may include account, device, or message information under their own policies.
Analytics and advertising
The current app does not include analytics, advertising, behavioral tracking, crash-reporting services, or data-sale code. Choreflow does not currently provide accounts or transmit household data to a Choreflow server.
